Wth do you think these guys are doing in the months leading up to the fight?
im a wlad fan but sometimes, opponents are just ****. I rate pulev as one of the best right now, possibly top 3 or 4 in the division and this is a good win for Wlad, fact is, Pulev just isn't comparable to other great challengers throughout history. Is that Wlad's fault? No. Should he suffer because of it? No. So stop defending against something that's not there, people just calling it as it is.

But Wlad has had a lot of filler in his career, Leapai, Mormeck, old Thompson to name a few.

But take nothing away from the likes of Pulev, Povetkin, Haye, Peter, his best opponents to date.

Yeah us too, the British would go insane and rate the division to the high heavens If we held a belt, I'll admit that.
The division does have good fighters they're just being treated very harshly by the fans of the sport.

Boxing is a proving ground for what works and what doesn't. That's what it's all about.

If lightfooted cruisers could beat these 250 pound tanks then they would be doing it, but they aren't.

Lewis had laid down a blueprint of what the HW division was becoming. The giants aren't just circus sideshows like back in the day, they are highly trained, but the style requirements are much different from those of a good middleweight. They can't slip punches the same way, they need to lean back and use their range as both defense and offense.

Povetkin is about as "small" as it gets while still standing a chance.

Where have I talked up Fury or Wilder for that matter? The only time I've come close to such a thing is saying they both beat Pulev which is blatantly obvious.

No nobody said he was great but about 15% picked him by K.O which is obsurd and was claiming he was this great talent which he absolutely is not.
I think Fury-Pulev is 50/50 kind of fight, but Pulev would beat Wilder imo, far too good technically for him.

Wlad was telegraphing that left hook but he just couldn't miss.

            Solid win for Wlad though.

They go in prepared to the best of their ability of course but for most part they have no real ability.
The only fighter Wladimir has beaten in years that is genuinely a good fighter is Povetkin before that you have to go all the way back to Haye.

Pulev is useless he didn't even try take away Wlads left hook, block it, roll with it, slip it, nothing. He got hit by every single left hook he threw as flush as you like.

No way, he was disguising it. It was a thing of beauty.

Dude Pulev just froze completely. He's always bouncing on his toes and in this fight he decided to fight like a toughman. Wlad's hook is one of the better ones in history of boxing. It's just marvelous, ridiculous talent!

I think he was over-focused on the right hand, and kept getting caught with the left.

I can't see it honestly mate.
I think Wilder knocks him out as quick as he has everyone else.

He will be right in front of him with his chin dangerously high inviting that right hand down the middle and I am anything but sold on Wilder
