I don't think Kovalev makes it to Ward

I always said that Stevenson is the more dangerous fight for Kovalev....He's a Southpaw and he has a great straight left hand (that Kovalev has shown to be vulnerable against) and that alone would make it a VERY dangerous fight....A fast explosive Southpaw with 1 punch KO power can be a nightmare for anyone to fight....

It seems pretty obviously to me that Stevenson ducked Kovalev due to financial reasons and not because he was "scared of him."

Stevenson couldn't beat Beterbiev right now. Artur is the only current opponent I'd be worried for Kovalev as well.

Kovalev fought a great fight against Hopkins. However, he demonstrated that he can be hit and can be hurt. Hopkins hurt him several times, including in the 12th round, but Hopkins never followed up. I think a fight against Stevenson would be a 50/50 fight because of the power that both of them have. I think Ward would dominate him and possibly KO him the way Ward did against Dawson.
Wouldn't you make it 51-49 cause Stevenson is black?

I agree with the few here that think Stevenson would be a hard fight for Kovalev. I know that it's fashionable right now to call Stevenson a "duck" and mock him (perhaps rightfully so) but let's not lose sight that it's a great matchup. It's a fight were either guy could get stopped at any point.

            HBO: "Fight Kovalev at 175"

Ward: "What about GGG at 168?"

            HBO: "It's not happening."

            Ward: "I'm going to Showtime."

You "always said" that Hopkins was going to school the one dimensional bum face first brawler.

Wouldn't mind seeing Kovenstein v Savigne.
