we should give credit where credit is due bro....he was old, but still competing at the highest level against young guys...kova showed me alot tonite, more then what GGG has thats for sure. and i agree ward would beat both, but hes got to get in there to prove it, and these guys have to be willing to be the b side and take less money... i think ward/kova is definately possible in summer 2015, maybe even the fall..we will see

Tim Bradley doesn't belong to top 10 p4p list

He jumped from #11 to #9 on my list after last night. A very good performance, but not transcendent.

I see p4p as it is officially in most scribes, an accumulation of career and recent wins and also on a fighters natural ability. Also one thing which is often overlooked where did that fighter begin weight wise, what is their natural weight? Are they competing out of their weight and still winning and dominating?

Also the p4p list is not and should not be a revolving door, it should not be easy to arrive there and should also not be that easy to lose your place in the top 10 once you are there unless you lose to someone who is not there. That being said I would put Kovalev at the moment in the top 15-20. If you can't think of 14 fighters who have better accomplishments then Kovalev than you have problems, I would not consider 10-15 out of the question based on your judgment of the ability he has shown this far which to me is still a question mark, he has not yet had his mettle tested.

It is of course a very subjective topic, but you shouldnt just rank people based on what they might do against so and so, or you think they are such a force at this present time, you have to actually take achievements into consideration, and finally back to one of my initial points it shouldn't be changed all that much unless those fighters are fighting and there have been losses or results to change perceptions, if you are constantly chopping and changing it devalues the whole thing.
There is no value to it. None. It's a barber shop debate when pertaining to contemporary fighters and there are no rules. Your take is one on it, but to pretend there is a way to measure Flyweights against Heavyweights in some precise way is just wasting time.

Loosen up and have fun with it. It's just silly fun.

**** p4p and all that rubbish, it doesn't matter, point is, Kovalev at this very moment is a top 2 LHW and the only fight that matters in the division is Kovalev v Stevenson, make it happen!

Like I said over a year a go, Stevenson beats Kovalev and last night proved it.

I don't know why Cotto is considered high on the p4p lists. I understand that technically Martinez is a "name" win but we saw the pitiful shape Martinez was in.

Leading up to that... "Tune-up" against Delvin Rodriguez who is 5-5-1 in the past 5 years (near bum status) and back to back losses to Trout and Floyd.

It's been a long time, several years now, since Cotto really did anything that looked good, and that was against another 3 shot-to-**** retirees: Marg, Yuri (similar knee injury to Sergio), and Mayorga (lol). Before that was his annihilation at the hands of Pacquaio.

I don't rank him p4p. He has always benefited immensely from the PR fanbase and popularity shouldn't be a metric in rankings.

They admitted they were going for weak opponents to get him some notoriety, and only the people that dont know this thinks he's fought murderous row, they ducked Ward admittedly and the cuban called him out the guy that just fought alvarez, and they ducked him, he said he'd come up or they can fight at 160. they didnt want none, this guy is nothing, and means nothing. He's only noticed cause of his ko's but wilder has done the same except he's ko'd everyone. his color is the only reason he's recognized cause the bronze bomber has done KO'd more at a higher weight class. A boxer with skills will beat this hype job. Just like the "machine" when he got in there with someone who could take his power he got beat, cause he's used to taxi drivers who worked overtime that weak. And you guys are the reason he will never get any credit. tell that ducker tho fight a living body, rubio has grey hair and thats what got him into p4p. so please enough of this garbage. The guy who started this needs to stfu, and making excuses. hes obviously a ggg nutlicker.

It was Floyd was and Tim. Tim loses to PAC so now he's not pfp? Losin to another pfp fighter doesn't knock you off top 10
