Hopkins mos def. But I bet nobody here will volunteer for a slap boxing match with Joe. If Hopkins can't win a legit boxing match with Joe nobody is going to step for slap boxing.

Pointless post from one of the dumbest posters on here. Drunk Larry thats deletes his post about how Pac would beat Mayweather after Maidana 2 and probably still denies it. You are racist against non blacks. Joe beat Hopkins so how pointless is this thread? Both fighters didn't always fight the best, both have terrible to watch styles, both have exaggerrated title defense reigns, and both talk themselves up to be better than they both are. Atleast Joe wasn't a racist.

Calslappy was shunned by the British public for being a boring ass fighter, that's why he ended up in the US to fight an old timer.
Calzaghe signed to fight Hopkins in 2002 and Borehard was the one who backed out of the deal.

Calzaghe was shunned by the British public? That'll be why his last fight on British soil sold 50,000 tickets and most of the fans in the arena for the Hopkins fight were cheering for him.

Why are people saying that Kovalev can be the first man to stop Hopkins?

Calzaghe knocked Hopkins out twice in the same fight.

Relax. We picked the same guy. I just think Calzaghe did have an excellent record including never losing. I thought Hopkins won his fight with Joe but it was close. Since the fight was in the States it is hard to make a case that it was a home country decision.

He a white boi doe. Didn't Hopkins get dropped by Calslappy and mounted also during the fight? I guess the judges didn't prefer the "veteran tactics" of Hopkins over the awesome slap power. Hopkins is a terrible actor when things are going south for him. Hopkins has something in common with Texas Hold em... the flop.
