Seriously though that Elisha chick should be banned for saying that Robert Guerrero would beat Tim Bradley. That's a ban worthy offense no doubt.

when? he struggled to outbox aydin who is terrible. he tried to outbox salido and was beaten up easily. he tried to outbox gamieil diaz and was beaten up. in the rematch he went toe to toe and knocked him out miraculously. from 126 to 147 he was matched super soft and carefully. he really didn't beat anyone of note. definitely a hype job.Yeah I can get with that, raheem. Once upon a time Guerrero was actually a pretty respectable boxer. And I mean boxer in the true sense of the word. He has always been a strong fighter/brawler.
These days he's damn near a Brandon Rios clone. I know that seems harsh, but the dude gets hit all day everyday. He throws defense out the window and gets into a phone booth and brawls. That's it. That's his one and only game plan these days.
I mean mother**king Kamegai busted him the f**k up. Berto did too. Berto actually gave as good as he got aside from the KDs. And some people even think Aydin beat him. Those are his last three fights besides Floyd.
When Guerrero & Bradley were both rising up the ranks, yeah, it would have been a hell of a fight. But these days Timothy Bradley would make it look easy with Guerrero.

Yes, I've always felt that for the most part Guerrero is a straight-up infighting brawler. That's his preferred style. I felt like unless he was fighting a mediocre or weak opponent, that's when he boxed. But if the opponent was strong, he always resorted to brawling. And he's taking numerous head shots. It's amazing he's still around honestly. I agree with your Rios comparison too.Yeah I can get with that, raheem. Once upon a time Guerrero was actually a pretty respectable boxer. I think a couple years ago, it would have been a war. Look at how Bradley ended up with Provodnikov. Guerrero would have pulled him into the ****** game of brawling, and was more dirty back then too. Bradley would have been in the unique position of having to watch another opponent trying to hit him with their head, and a host of other things.Comment
