If that's the spin u wanna put on it...Algieri had literally done nothing to suggest that. In fact, he's only had one decent win his whole career, and now he's a better fight than Guerrero. The spin that goes on here is sickening.

If he fights Jesse Vargas, that'll be total b.s. but I think Antonio DeMarco is going to defeat him anyways. Pacquiao should try to fight Kell Brook @ 147lbs, Terrence Crawford @ 140lbs or Mikey Garcia @ 140lbs. Otherwise who's left since the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight isn't going to happen. Pacquiao vs. Canelo @ 152lbs is the only other fight I can think of... Pacman should just retire if he isn't able to get a good fight.

Yeah no doubt. I'm a Pac fan but no, an Algieri win would not be a more quality win than Robert Guerrero. It really wouldn't even be close, to be honest. Right now Algieri is an ESPN fighter with one nice upset win on his resume. That's it. Guerrero went through a hell of a lot more to get his Floyd payday than Algieri had to do to get his Manny payday.

Seems both Floyd and Pac are content with strolling to retirement.

This is a terrible fight. I rather see Pacquiao fight Brook.

This fight is only a little worse than fighting Algieri, which is only a little better than fighting Rios. Or worse.

If Pac actually moves down, his options suck. It's either Vargas, Provodnikov (even more pointless when Pac is fighting someone who just beat Ruslan), Mikey Garcia, or Crawford.

I guess there's the chance of Golden Boy fighters at 140, but they're mostly Haymon and I won't believe any rumor there until they're official.

Which is why moving down is ******. Just like re-signing with Arum.
