Ok, you obviously don't have another explanation for why Stevenson pulled out of that fight, so I'm going to stick with mine.
That was the official excuse for why he switched networks but according to bhop when he tried to make the fight, Stevenson just stalled and ignored him while Kovalev said yes within a day.
From what I read it was Haymon, not Stevenson, who was stalling with BHop because he wanted time to manouver another one of his fighters into position for a shot at the winner.
