By the Pascal DUCK I think people stopped even caring.

No matter how you slice it he's trying to milk his belt fighting the easiest competition that won't see him stripped.
You totally missed my point. This move had nothing to do with any other fighter, neither Hopkins not Kovalev. Maybe YOU thought he was moving to Showtime just to chase a fight with Hopkins. But the events of the past 16mos should tell you that all of this network switching has nothing to do with anything like that.

Adonis never moved to Showtime, Adonis moved to Al Haymon. That's how your boss teaches you to spread deception on discussion boards?

Yes, Adonis is the king at 175. He is the lineal champ. Now defend against the winner of bhop/kovalev to either prove it or lose the crown.

The terms were agreed and the contracts drawn up for Stevenson vs Kovalev. Pulling out at that stage without any other reason than " .. sorry, I've changed my mind and I want to fight somebody else ..." is a duck.

If the being the "lineal champion" meant anything at all he would have have lost that "title" right there and then.

If you want to end the story right there then yeah sure. But God has given us brains so we won't be purposely dense.

What I'm saying is that the concept of the lineal champion is bogus and I think the reaction to Stevenson's claim - by everybody but you - proves that I'm right about that.

And that has nothing to do with what I'm saying.
