The whole "duck" thing is getting tired. Stevenson isn't that good but I would think by now, after seeing all the fighter/network/promoter drama that's been going these past few months, people would realize that Stevenson's move to Showtime had nothing to do with Kovalev.

Whatever drama was going on between networks and promoters, it would not have prevented Stevenson from fighting Kovalev. As I said previously, the terms had been agreed and the contracts drawn up.
If Stevenson and his backers believed he could beat Kovalev they would have gone through with the fight and then moved to showtime for an even more lucrative fight with BHop.
The agreement that Stevenson had with Duva ended with him fighting Krusher, he could have done whatever he wanted after that.
The reason he pulled out of the fight was clearly that either he or his backers didn't think he would win it. That's a duck.
