I'm sure Floyd schooled him over coffee and donuts without even breaking a sweat during negotiations. Then again, that's only because Cotto wasn't feeling well, soul searching and had an argument with his best friend the night prior. Floyd literally "weight" drained him in those negotiations, thus negating any and every other fact that occurred throughout those meetings and agreements. Now under RNS, Cotto is rejuvenated and back on track!

Big Cotto fan here. Canelo gets full props if he wins.

They're both fighting at their preferred weights (unlike Canelo vs Floyd) so there won't be any weight draining going on.

Plus I feel like Cotto is rejuvenated with Roach and McMillan in his corner.

Agreed. The only loss I think is suspect is the first margs fight. No excuses for his other loses. The winner should get full credit. I just hope if it does go to the cards its a fair decision. Wouldn't wanna see either guy shafted.

Jay-z>b-real. I think Cotto is an enigma in this fight. He lost to Floyd then trout, which was humiliating. He's come back and beat some guys up but none of those fights were even competitive. I have no idea how he will do in a challenging fight. I actually have similar questions of canelo, too. His claim to fame is losing to Floyd. He hasn't beaten anybody of note.

The fans that like him now well give him credit. The haters who say he is a hype job will continue to give him little credit. I remember when they said he would never fight Trout after Trout soundly beat Cotto. He fought Trout right away and won but got little credit from his haters. Then Lara beat the hell out of Trout and the haters said Canelo wouldn't dare fight Lara but he did fight him and won a close fight. Again the haters gave him little credit saying Lara was robbed. GGG and Canelo are my favorite boxers but they get a lot of hate and I don't think they deserve any of it. They fight clean and they fight well. They are always in exciting fights and they fight the best fighters who will agree to fight them.
