Brooklyn, New York - Bernard Hopkins and Sergey Kovalev held their final workouts as they look ahead to their WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight unification on Saturday night at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The undefeated Kovalev of Russia will look to end the incredible run of the 49-year-old Hopkins in their HBO televised headliner. Also on the card, undefeated American Olympian Sadam Ali will face by far the stiffest test of his career when he takes once-beaten welterweight ****er Luis Carlos Abgreu of Argentina. I've seen far too many pick him for it to be that much of a shock.

Yeah, I remember Allan Green saying something about JDJ always taking care of himself. Haha said he was too into himself

Green should've followed that example instead of talk about it like it's a bad thing. Wtf?

Hopkins tried to pull the race card about being under appreciated but if he were a different race, he would have been constantly accused of taking PEDs a long time ago, especially after the Pascal situation...

Hopkins beat Tarver and Pascal... that Tarver win is his real keystone win... Pavlick turned out to be a hype job..and Pascal has never been considered a top guy... I can't forget the Hopkins who was schooled by Dawson though... really bad loss for his legacy.. Not to mention, Calzaghe clearly outworked Hopkins 11 out of 12 rounds..fight shouldn't have been close...

When Kovalev dominates Hopkins...we'll all chalk it up to age and play it down kind of like the Dawson and Calzaghe losses...
