I think there are a lot of people in the business that hope Chris beats Manny. He has movie star looks and is charismatic. He could be sold as a mainstream guy very easily. Honestly it seems that Floyd has zero interest in ever fighting Manny so there's really no huge mega fights for Pacman left. A changing of the guard may be just what some powers in boxing would love to happen.
