What really impresses me about Pac and gets brownie points is that he came back after being ko'ed. Many great fighters like Meldrick Taylor was never the same after losing to Chavez, and Mel**** wasn't even sparked out like Pac was.
The level of fighters Pac has fought since being ko'ed showed me Pac really is that good and deserves all the praise that comes to him. Rios, and Bradley were good enough to question how good Pac is. As far as im concerned Pac has earnt the right after being ko'ed like that, to lose to a nobody as he has nothing left and any tom, **** and harry could take advantage of Pac. But no, to come back from adversity at 35 then you know you've got a special fighter.Last edited by hugh grant; 11-05-2014, 01:46 PM.

wow, how impressive is it to beat fighters that lost to Alvarado and Provodnikov (which is what you said after tim and provo fought but you changed once Manny signed to fight Tim).Originally posted by hugh grant View PostWhat really impresses me about Pac and gets brownie points is that he came back after being ko'ed. Ring Magazine suggests otherwise.Originally posted by ElMeroChingon View PostUndeniably, The fans love him, never heard anyone say a bad thing about Pacquiao.
Not Manny Pacquiao, this ATG has been putting in work with no breaks since he first came on the scene, a true fighter.
8-time world champion in eight different weight divisions, non-protected record.
Resume speaks for it's self:
- Cotto
- Marco Antonio Barrera.x2
- Erik Morales.x2
- Juan Manual Marquez.x2
- Oscar De La Hoya.(quit)
- Ricky Hatton(amazing performance,KO in two rounds).
- Antonio Margarito.(ended his career)
- Shane Mosley(KD + ran the whole fight in fear of getting Hatton'ed)
- Tim Bradley( took his soul).
And half of these wins are at welterweight, a small fighter being able to compete with fighters who are bigger, stronger, and just as fast, for so long is incredible knowing how small Pacquiao is, and to win 8tittles in so many divisions is ATG status, it's for the record books.
Fact is he fought all the future HOF'ers in impressive fashion.
Pacquiao is now 35, and past his prime. Enjoy him, this type of fighter comes through once in a lifetime.
Resume speaks for it'self.
Everyone says Floyd is the best businessman, retires when his division gets hot , and then unretires when the threats have passed. Just no cut from the same cloth.

true I thought he may have decided enough was enough after that Ko but he has come back and is still beating top opponents like Bradley even though clearly well past his best.Originally posted by hugh grant View PostWhat really impresses me about Pac and gets brownie points is that he came back after being ko'ed. Duran did it when he got KO'd by Hearns. It just says that PAC is in that level of being an ATG.Originally posted by hugh grant View PostWhat really impresses me about Pac and gets brownie points is that he came back after being ko'ed.
