  • Pacquiao's Welterweight rise was a great time to be a boxing fan. What an amazing run while completely annihilating fighters who were stronger, and just as fast, and picked to win.

By that time Pacquiao was universely recognize, and many had crowned him the best fighter of the last 10years through his body of continous work, never backing down. Thats what greatness is all about.

Can't argue with that, the resume speaks for it's self.

Casual know nothing about boxing fans think its great , insiders know its a snow job of draining and cherry picking shot fighters coming of loses , why do you think he is running out of the WW division , because they are all calling him out lol .

Seriously? #5? Broner was number five, he didn't deserve it. Garcia was P4P Top Ten, he proved he didn't deserve it.

        Same situation as Corrales.

You should only be P4P if you truly deserve it compared to everyone else around you, not just based off hype and "I'm the best in the division even though I'm not Lineal & I've ot beaten contenders."

Again, Corrales wouldn't be P4P Top 10 today.

Are you saying Maidana beat a Top 5 P4P fighter?

Either way, doesn't matter. Pacquiao still has a bevy of wins that are greater than Floyd's Corrales win.

And who deserves a Pacquiao fight?
            Khan? Nope. Haymon fighters? Nope.

Would you be happy if Pacquiao fought Khan/Alexander in April or would you call it a cherry pick because he won't fight Maidana or Guerrero instead? Nobody out there deserves a Floyd or Manny fight unless they're bona-fide guys I.E. JMM, Bradley, Garcia, Canelo, Cotto. Unless they fight each other they should just retire. Because unless it's 1 of the guys I've mentioned, then it's considered a cherry pick.

You've also got serious hate for Bradley. the dude has been the best fighter since 2007 not named Manny or Floyd.

              Corrales beat contenders and champions.

To compare Corrales in 2000 to Maidana is absurd.

Back then he was universally considered P4P and one of the most dangerous men in Boxing, do some research.

Are you serious , Rios Algieri and Jessie Vargas are worthy but Brook Guerrero Maidana Canelo Thurman and Khan are not worthy , you come out with the ****** comments .

Bradley is ok but to say he is the best your outa your mind , both Canelo and Cotto over shadow him in the ring and popularity , Bradley cant draw fish to water , has a very low KO ratio and not much of a resume , he is like a guy that just cant break the big time and stays second fiddle .

Id be happy if Manny would fight a real WW at 147 pounds , how the fck can you swallow him calling for a cash out with the best WW in the world yet only fights JNr WWS while trying to secure that fight , its a blatant easy road scam , mind you this is following a KO by a guy Floyd toyed with , its obvious Manny does not want to risk losing and so will stay away from the leading WWs all of which are a better fight than any at JWW .

Yeah, boxing is a popularity contest. You love Floyd but hate Bradley even though Bradley is 100x more interesting. Especially considering he has a Fight of the Year in 2013..

Yeah, you can argue Cotto for the 3rd place, but otherwise Bradley is still a Top Fighter. Look at the paths he and Khan took? Khan went down the drain while Bradley rose to #3 P4P.

Khan has done nothing, Thurman has done nothing & brings nothing, Guerrero has done nothing, Maidana is just cashing out, Canelo is going to MW.
Rios was a ****ing comeback fight. Algieri is coming off a win and considering nothing was available for PacMan at the time, Algieri got the shot.

Yeah I hate the idea of Vargas fighting Pacquiao, he sucks @ss. But if itcomes down to Pacquiao retiring or fighting M Garcia, Crawford, I'll buy those 2 fights. Brook would be a good fight but I don't see any connections to it at the moment. Danny Garcia would also be good.

Why do you want Pacquiao to fight guys bigger then him constantly? Him fighting Crawford or Mikey would be equal in size/weight. Notice how he is going down in weight getting older, he never belonged at 147 in the first place. The money & big fights were up here, otherwise he'd have stayed at LW/JWW.

                    • Floyd: Better defence than Manny, the best of all time likely.

Pac: Possibly the best offensive fighter of all time.

Pac is more powerful, can take the punch of Floyd (who is a non-committal hitter), faster, more agile, much higher workrate and aggressive.

Floyd could not handle the pressure of Maidana, who does not possess the same furious workrate or lightening speed, only the pop.

I can't see any possible way he could really beat Pac, and obviously neither can Floyd.

It's simple, if he thought he could pull off the biggest fight in history, he would. He would not flush his whole life's work down the drain, enrage a world full of fans and destroy his legacy if he didn't know he couldn't win.

One of these guys is going down as the greatest shame job in history, and the other, the peoples champ, is going down immortalised!

                      King Pacquiao!

In the end... He beat Mayweather without even having to throw a single punch!

                      FACT!
