Ward isn't even active and hasn't shown any evidence that he could even negotiate this fight. Not to mention, that Canelo and Cotto have stated Triple G is being considered as a near-future opponent.
Triple G has also stated that he would jump at the chance to move down to 54' to fight Mayweather...
Let's discuss the Mayweather, Canelo and Cotto fights rather than talk about moving up a division to fight a guy who may not even be able to negotiate the fight and hasn't scored a significant win in years...

Dude is so confident in his fighter beating Ward, that he predicts he would win a close fight.
Translation: my fighter gets a whooping of a lifetime by Ward and most likely contemplates retirement and questions if he really is elite like me and his fans hyped him up to be.

I need to deal how Golovkin would deal with someone who jumps in and holds or moves in with a punch and holds..
I would need to see Golovkin pro-active in the clinch and not just an idle body being wrapped up to see him winning comfortably against Ward.

Dude, GGG reputation is already on the rise, why are you mentioning Wards name, you don't need him in the direction your team is going. When the time come and Ward can fight again, he going to be looking for GGG...and when that fight don't happen, he will be considered part of the Duck Dynasty.

Nonetheless this doesn't make me totally disregard the Dawson win for Ward, more just to put it in it's proper perspective. It was an achievement, just... well... not a particularly special one.
Dawson is undoubtedly a naturally gifted athlete, but the concerns over his commitment to training and dedication to the sport were there before setbacks of the last 2 or 3 years,
Whilst I was hoping that a dedicated and in form 'Bad' Chad would be an asset to the division, I'm currently struggling to see how he finds his way back from the Karpency 'thing'.

Sanchez clearly has plenty of faith in GGGs abilities, though I agree that part of his role is stressing how good Golovkin is.
So. Is Ward gonna send an offer now? Do you think he should? Is a Golovkin fight beneath him?

And your confidence stems from what GGG did in the Adamu fight? or was it when he just beat Rubio? boxing 101, who on GGG's resume remotely fights a Andre Ward style? and look at Ward's resume and you can pick bigger fighters that he's faced that has given him a GGG look - Froch / Kesseler / Bika / Abraham they all are known punchers, very rugged, guys, but the more ironic state is that the four fighters I mentioned all have better resume's than GGG in a higher weight class. Don't let your faith blind you of the facts, yes GGG is good, but how good is he? I think Martin(hope that's his name) will still leave us in the dark and the sad thing about it is if he goes some rounds with GGG then the myth will be busted... Oh yeah what rhythm are you speaking of that GGG possess ? He is a plodder my friend, GGG is not swimming with out getting wet, GGG is not showing outstanding upper body movement, He gets hit and he catches punches like a Kesseler / froch / Abraham - study the game its OK to like other fighters especially fighters that have proven themselves

Ward bites GGG out of frustration from finally not having a caveman mindlessly plodding forward in front him and gets DQ'ed. If he keeps his cool, he either loses by TKO or GGG wins a decisiondumbest comment ever in the history of the world wide web.
