Are you saying Cotto should rematch Floyd, or Canelo should rematch Floyd?

Either I'm inclined to believe both Cotto and Canelo would make more fighting each other than they would as a Mayweather B-side again. Mayweather sweepstakes aren't really the huge paydays they should be for his opponents.

I believe Canelo is at his peak. He's been pro since 16 so I think he's hit his prime a little quicker than normal.. I don't see Canelo getting any better than now once he's over 25

Worry about robbery? Canelo is going to scored a 7th-round knockout win here

Your post makes zero sense, so Cotto would fight a tougher, bigger challenge for less money but he is "scared" of the smaller and more lucrative fighter?

This is typically how the start of negotiations take place. Ask for the world and settle somewhere in the middle. That being said, I get the feeling that Cotto isn't too keen on going head to head against Floyd's PPV.

Cotto would be an idiot if he fights anywhere in Texas. Lets guess who the ref is going to be

If it were that logical than every super fight in the US would be at a huge venue...but they're typically not. Since PAC fought Clottey/Margs in Cowboy Stadium they haven't been back. There were huge complaints about seating and lack of a decent view of the ring, and seat pricing is cheaper so it's not like they make substantially more. As for your prediction, maybe. More likely Canelo can't handle the skill level of Cotto and gets outclassed, TKO rd 9.

We knew the negotiations would be tough. But neither Cotto or Canelo are ****** enough to leave this fight on the table. It is the biggest Money fight both can make.
Regardless of it being in May or June, MSG or MGM, the fight sells.

Either one of those would make a lucrative rematch with Mayweather.
