i don't think toney stops golovkin. he was a precise puncher, but not an excessively powerful one. good / very good pop, but not enough to stop a fighter with a very good / great chin like golovkin.
i do think toney beats him. he'd be an open book for the counters. maybe golvokin starts to land the left hook high on the head, but i doubt it. i don't think he'd be fast enough to deal with toney's head movement and craft.
ud 12.
if toney isn't in shape, he doens't win.

the only difference is the nature of the sports. in cycling, you win races and pedal harder. in boxing, you punch other dudes harder and more frequently to the head and vital organs.

Imagine Golovkin on steroids then do the calculation on a fantasy match-up. Otherwise, spare me hearing about it.Last edited by Butt stuff; 10-30-2014, 08:21 AM.

At his best, and based on what we know at the moment, he was leagues ahead of GGG.
Like I said on the first page, it all depends on which James shows up. When he was on point, an A+ fighter in my books. When he was off, more like a b-
if he was on, I don't think anyone in history would have a easy fight on their hands. How does Golovkin measure up? Well I don't think any of us know. He has it so easy. I do think he has the capability to be an A fighter at least, but it is too hard to compare because he has not had the chance to get that A fighter. This is why he needs to fight someone like Ward, so we can put him up with a fighter where we can truly measure how good he is.
