That fight was a huge learning experience for a Toney who was only 23 years old. A little unfair to compare that guy to a 32 year old Golovkin.

what? please be honest and admit you made logical mistake. it's strange to read, because we're talking about 160lbs. ten years later [in his 30s] toney's fought @ 200lbs. do you want to compare 160lbs.-fighter to 200lbs.-experienced fighter? are you serious? it's fair to compare two 160lbs.-fighters. therefore my arguments are ok.

I know its cool to ****ride GGG at the moment but purely looking at the clash of styles I would favor Toney. Toney struggled with movement and awkward angles.

James Toney said hed do this and that to a lot of fighters. He said hed do it to Benn and Eubank but never fought them to prove his theory.

James Toney might be better than anyone GGG has fought so it would be interesting.

That's true to an extent but I feel like the whole point of these fantasy matchups is to pit them against each other at their very best. Then it comes down to styles basically. Besides, given the frenzy from hardcore fans, I suspect Toney would be highly motivated for this one. At his best, and based on what we know at the moment, he was leagues ahead of GGG.

Only saw a couple, not going through to find them all, but anyone who thinks Golovkin has any chance of knocking James Toney out is either insane or knows nothing about James Toney.
