There's a reason why he's been outboxed more than 1,2,3,4 times. That's not a coincidence.

Two of Manny's losses came over a decade ago, one was a robbery versus Tim and a KTFO to another HOF'r Marquez.

Manny doesn't lose to the Khans, Alexander's, Kotenlinks, of the sport.

Get real, and then get sober, junior.
    Pretty much this..

Josesito fn Lopez had Maidana hurt bad if I recall correctly. Manny would annihilate Maidana, but of course certain people are too blinded by fanboyism to use common sense. Honestly I hope it does happens, It would be a helluva fight.. but of course as soon as it's over and Manny wins they would all say Maidana is Floyd's leftovers, he lost two in a row, he's not the same, he just wanted one last payday before retiring blah, blah, blah.. Usual hater drivel.

I doubt Pacquiao would ask Maidana to change his gloves, however I also doubt Manny would take the fight either, unless it was at 144 or lower.

Only stringent OST has a chance of dissuading PED use, and should be incorporated in every fight.
i've been saying this for a while now,a lot...and i mean a lot of boxers are on one ped or another..they'd have to,to make it a fair and even playing field-...ped testing is a joke in boxing.

I think so too. If he is really going back down to 140 lbs, the only real reason to fight at 147 lbs again would be, cough cough (dont get butthurt people), a floyd fight.

I don't like the situation he is in but it is what it is. Ghost had a much bigger fan base than Thurman has now at the same point in his career, that's how he got big fights because he sold tickets, same with Porter, Broner, and even Victor Ortiz when he was active. Before they even stepped foot in the ring with the top ten they had established fan bases and they moved tickets.

Thurman simply does not move tickets. Even with all of his knockouts he does not attract fans. GGG has yet to face a name opponent yet he is drawing fans so he will be able to land big fights.
Like the rest of you I want Thurman to have his shot, but it doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon because people aren't drawn to the guy.

I don't even think he would go back to 147 for Floyd. I would predict the usual: A offer is made, Arum and Manny would say it's a ridiculous offer. Floyd would say "**** you" to them both, and Manny would fight Vargas, who Arum wanted him to fight all along. I don't wanna see that movie for a third time! I just wanna see Floyd and Manny fight all the best fighters NOT NAMED Floyd or Manny in 2015, and then move on so the young cats can get some shine!

Now you sound more like a boxing fan! I kinda agree with you. But you cant "sell tickets" if they dont wanna fight you. All he has to do is beat someone like broner or berto and hell be well known like maidana, guerrero and ortiz. (sarcasm there)

Manny has never in his career faced anyone that fights like Chino. With the exception of Bradley and JMM no one he fought made and attempt to counter his combos at all. They simply have turtle shell defenses. Chino counters and he times. He doesn't just walk straight in with his head up.

We would have to wait and see what type of "offer" he gives. "Showtime must get the fight and FMP is the promoter", to me, thats a ****** offer and it makes absolutely no sense.

Agree with you 100% on that last line though.
