Why should he fight GGG? He makes more money fighting Canelo or Floyd. More recognition if he beats Canelo or Floyd and probably has a better shot at beating those two as well. Lets be honest GGG, is way too big for Cotto, and that will be a huge advantage for him in a fight with Cotto. Now I don't believe Cotto will never fight GGG, but that fight will always be there for him because GGG will always be an avoided fighter.

So, why now, when he has bigger paydays out there? Also I am a big fan of GGG, but what has he done to deserve the big fights? Who has he really beaten? Why not fight a big name that is not at the elite level like Chavez Jr, that way he can keep building up to the elite level and keep getting his name out there for the casual fans. Btw, Martin Murray is not the key to that either, Carl Froch on the other hand would also be a good choice. In fact why doesn't any1 believe he should at least get the other belts before facing Cotto, how about a fight with Quillin? It doesn't do much to promote himself with the casuals but it is another belt, or do they worry Quillin could win and ruin his chances on picking on the smaller Cotto, now who is scared?

so he should have no problem about facing golovkin,he shouldnt bring up that ggg doesnt sell because martinez doesnt sell either,that ppv didnt do good,but we all know cotto turned down 10 million bcuz he knew it was a sure win against an aging martinez and then he can make more after becoming a champ not bcuz he chose glory over money,if he really feels like that he will pick ggg over canelo but he wont because ggg isnt old and hasnt been inactive for over a year coming off surgeries... cotto picking sergio over canelo was about being smart not about glory over money, and that will be proven when he avoids ggg

Also remember that Martinez had been calling out Cotto for years during his prime. Cotto chose to face a shot Mayorga and a shot one eyed Margarito instead. Was that for the "glory" too?

Just weird how you **** on fighters for taking money fights but when Cotto does it, you don't seem to mind.

And when did cotto say hes NOT gonna fight GGG? Again, he has stated already that after canelo hes gonna fight GGG.

Again, cotto has stated that hes gonna fight GGG after canelo. I also stated that if he doesn't, he MUST VACATE the belt and go back down to 154.

Abel Sanchez is one of my favorite ppl in boxing, but he's full of ***** on this one. He's criticizing Cotto and his team for doing the exact same thing he and GGG's team are doing. GGG is a big and strong fighter, and he's challenging Cotto (which I understand cause he's the "new linear MW Champ") but he's also challenging Canelo 154 and Mayweather 147, why is that? when he can fight guys his size like Ward, Froch, etc...they want to get paid too...so why complaining about the same ***** you do, I ask?

95% of the hate that Cotto gets is cause he's from PR and yes he's making business decisions but he's been upfront with it, not hiding behind this warrior bs front like most of other fighters are doing today and just want to get paid too!!!
