He doesn't rehydrate no damn 30 pounds on fight night... probably like 15-20.
But I believe he absolutely walks around at about 175 between fights.
He boils down every bt of fat he possibly can to make 140. It's pretty obvious to me the dude is huge at 140, and quite large for 147.
Yeah his training vids on instagram make him look like a middleweight. He's 5"10 and he's filled out to **** for this fight. Obviously its hard to analyse size from a photo but he doesn't look like a light-welter thats for sure.
the CW will benefit chris even more.. instead of going up 7lbs to 147, he is only going up 4lbs to 144. manny will have to come down to make the 144 mark.
SO many asked for a CW because it benefits the opponent. Geez man pac fans make up the craziest stuff.
I doubt he moves from 180 to 140 that's a lot to loose and maintain strength.
This fight is about Manny getting down a few pounds and getting speed and a working plan in order. He needs to press this guy but as a boxer not a slugger.
If he can press this kid to move to the left into his left this could get ugly quick. However this kid has length in stride and reach and if he can move freely to his left this might get interesting. Chris is a smart boxer with skills and he showed guts against Li' Rock to survive a very bad injury and do well enough to win. It showed he has character and a cool head under fire.
This comes down to Chris being able to beat Manny's left with his right!
If Manny can't steam roll this kid early he will be in for a boxing match, maybe.

Agreed..wasnt happy at all when this fight was announced but, it will be interesting to see how manny does against a great mover. Very different from all his recent fight. Bradley moves well too but I think Algieri is a more disciplined fighter.
