Has Ward fought anyone as skilled/good as Kovalev/Golovkin?

I find Ward quite entertaining to watch, The way in which he constructs his ring generalship and his ability to switch up styles is inspiring. . . sure he has a tendancy to spoil/smash and grab but so do many other fighters.
I think OP has the blinkers on, only seeing what he wants to see. He's asking who has Ward faced? and he's only gone and cleaned out his division, what more can you ask for from the guy?
Golovkin hasn't fought anyone like Ward either. . . and Kov, well I guess I'll wait until after his match up with Le Alien before casting any conclusions on that one.Comment

You can't say Kovalev is well rounded when he has a bad tendency of leaving his chin up in the air when he comes forward and he likes to pull straight back.Comment

It's time this boxrec crap ends with Wards 168lb resume.
If Wlad's victories over top HW's and "cleaning of the divison, Kovalev fighter in a "weak LHW era" "160lbs is weak" are all reasons for Wlad, Golovkin, Kovalev to be "overrated. not p4p, etc" can somebody tell me why the same doesn't apply to Ward? He cleaned out a WEAK division. His skill is undeniable, just like Kovalevs and Golovkins. But his opposition was weak as hell..... Yes, Froch, Kessler and Abraham were all top SMWS. But Geale was a top MW. If Geale is average, can somebody tell me what made/makes Froch/Kessler/Abraham/Bika above-average???
The fact of the matter is they're all products of a weak era/weak division at the time.
Somebody tell me their "elite" skillsets........Comment

I'm not asking who Ward has faced. I know who he has faced. Did you even read my posts?
I'm saying the guys he faced were products of a weak division and weak era. Just like how Wlad's top HW opponents "wouldn't be competitive in any other era" Pulev, Povetkin, etc (according to some posters)
Well I'm saying the same with Froch, Kessler, Abraham and Bika.
Are you going to tell me what they can do/did that's so special. Read how I described them on the last post of page 2, and tell me are they anything more then that? Come on now.Comment

Well rounded does not equal flawless.
Do you have a response to my question about what makes the 168lbers special besides the fact that they fought each other?Comment

Froch and Kessler are better. Especially in the years he fought them. I mean Froch went on to KO undefeated Bute and undefeated Groves twice. Kessler went on to beat Froch and KO Green. Also, both Froch and Kessler went on to become champions again. Froch holds two belts and is #1 ranked SMW.
IMO, Edwin Rodriguez beats Golovkin in similar fashion to Grachev, but in later rounds. I know i'll have rocks thrown at me and be chased with pitchforks for that, but Rodriguez style and size is all wrong for GGG. Rodriguez is better than anyone GGG has fought, for sure.Comment

dominated the entire tournament? like i said, i scored the bika fight a draw. i had the froch fight 115-113. he should have been disqualified against kessler and bika. i think NOTHING of ward. i meant everything i said in that post. i think his skills are way overrated too. all the dude does is hold and headbutt and elbow people in the eyesocket. oh and he rabbit punches a lot. he ducked dirrell lolololol!L!O!LComment

Come on Larry.... or anybody else. Are you guys going to tell me what makes Froch, Kessler, Abraham or Bika special???? (besides them all fighting each other)
Can anybody disprove what I'm saying of them: (aside from Kessler) They're all tough guys with good chins, none of them are good boxers, all of them mindlessly plod forward and they're all slow. None of them has better then above-average power and none of them have the complete skillset that Kovalev and Golovkin possess.
Anybody?Comment
