What Kovalev means is that the way he fights will be enough to beat Hopkins. He'll box and throw sledgehammers at Nard until he overwhelms him. Nard will be on the defensive and won't be able to keep him at bay. Nard will lose this fight badly.Comment

I can see the train of thought many of you are following here - Kovalev beat Cleverly easily, so Cleverly must have been a poor champion, and Krusher KOing him doesn't mean a thing.
But nobody has beaten Cleverly except for Kovalev, and nobody had ever floored him before, amateur or pro. So what if Cleverly was actually much better, and tougher, than you guys think he was?
That would make Krusher's blow out win over him a very impressive performance indeed, which is how I look at it. And that's why I think that, if he doesn't get cut, Kovalev will surely beat BHop.Comment

The curse of Bernard Hopkins will consume you Kovalev.
Your soul will join trinidad tarver taylor pavlik dawson cloud and pascal's
The curse claimed andre ward and david haye for just talk of facing Hopkins!
Legend has it the only way to break the curse is to have witch doctor Emmanuel Augustus perform a ritualistic voodoo dance around you 3 days before mardi gras lolComment

I think that is his best bet taking a balls to the wall approach. Too many get lulled into a fight at B-Hops pace, hes 50 years old.
Come out swinging and make it rough as possible, show him no respect.

However Bernard Hopkins will beat Kovalev with ease, and Kovalev will never be the same.Comment
