Dude just name the black fighters he avoided or go to sleep"And of course, I'm probably not looking to fight six strong champions. I'm a lot older now, you know what I'm saying?" - Floyd Mayeather
But Guerrero or Ortiz or a small JMM moving up 3 divisions or Baldoimir is all ok? WTF is the difference. Hes been fighting these guys his whole career?Comment

No they were all crappy fights. But I would rather see them than someone like Alexander"And of course, I'm probably not looking to fight six strong champions. I'm a lot older now, you know what I'm saying?" - Floyd Mayeather
But Guerrero or Ortiz or a small JMM moving up 3 divisions or Baldoimir is all ok? WTF is the difference. Hes been fighting these guys his whole career?
Also, we are talking about fights Mayweather could have had. Porter, Thurman, Brook? Sure - a year from now. Not in the last 5 years would any of those fights have sold anything. Andrade? Fantastic fighter, no one knows him. Imagine him on PPV? No thanks.Comment

In your world maybe. :WORD: He was running out options. (easy fights) he had no choice. DLH wanted a rematch too. Ducked that as well.WRONG he was still with Top Rank actually, Bob Arum actually tried to negotiated with Gary Shaw (who was Winky Wright Promotion at that time) to make the fight but negotiations fell apart.
By the way while Mayweather was with Top Rank, he wasn't even offered Margarito until he he asked for the Oscar De La Hoya fight, Margarito was used as a damn "Carrot on a Stick" to try keep Mayweather at Top Rank
And Cotto was NEVER OFFERED, even Cotto confirmed that Mayweather never came up as a possible opponent while with Top RankComment

And that fight wasn't made
then he fights Cotto years later.
Who has Floyd beat in their prime
