Mayweather was already gone from Top Rank...you honestly think Arum was going to do business with Mayweather AFTER he left Top Rank? This the same guy who did not want to do business with Oscar after he left when Mayweather asked him to make the Oscar De La Hoya fight

The point is how Floyd responded. Floyd was NOT interested in fighting Cotto and his excuse was NOT Arum but that Cotto didn't make business sense!

You trying to use Arum as an excuse. Arum is still doing business with Cotto and he had left. To get Manny vs Oscar, it involved OSCAR and Arum to get it done. So wrong again.

The only one who has complained, and only recently, that he doesn't want to do business, is Floyd. Floyd has been saying for the last year that he doesn't want to do business with Arum NOT the other way around.

He had a rematch with De La Hoya on the table at the time. So he was right it didn't make business sense.

Stop with them excuses Floyd fans. Floyd said this AFTER the Oscar fight and after the Hatton fight! This was after Cotto beat Mosley.

Of course, Shane Mosley and Zab Judah don't count in your mind. Also, the fact that you are talking about the man's d....k tells me just what kind of person you are.

It's true Mayweather had a De La Hoya rematch on the table at the time. He chose to "retire". If anything he ducked De La Hoya not Cotto, but that doesn't look as good to the haters because Mayweather already fought and beat him.

The only people making excuses are haters like you. Floyd fans know the truth. We know that Floyd called out Mosley at 135 and Mosley turned him down. We know that he called out Cotto at 140 and Bob Arum refused to make the fight. We know that he called Hatton out at 140 and Hatton's promoter refused to make the fight.

We know that Floyd is 38 years old and eight years past his prime; yet, he is still the best fighter in the world. And last, but not least, we know that haters like you will never give him credit for anything while you continuously bend over backwards to praise and kiss the a...s...s...es of much less accomplished fighters like Pacquaio, GGG and Alvarez.

You don't need excuses when you have the truth. Mayweather fans have the truth. All you and other haters have is your biased, delusional fantasies that you post on this site on a daily basis.

Stevie Johnson was probably about the best guy he missed that was African American and in the same class. Who was really superior to Mosley though in that category, for all his flaws he was still a very fine fighter.

Vivian Harris had not he screwed the pooch against Maussa was probably going to fight Floyd and Berto if he beat Ortiz probably would have got it.

That fight is basically a winner gets Floyd sweepstakes it is looking like. Those are nice stakes to that fight hopefully they fight like that is on the line.

Floyd retired! That is why Floyd said "Cotto doesn't make any business sense" Man, you guys really stretching the "must protect Floyd at all costs" tonight. Even more objective Floyd fans are waving the flag!

Floyd knows when to make the fights. Hype them up .....

but you are not talking to someone who just started watching boxing yesterday. Even when the risks are minimal, Floyd still is out to limit the risks even further. Example, Canelo and Maidana.

Floyd called out Mosley? So why didn't Floyd move up right away to 147? 154? If Floyd did that, you may have a case but what Floyd did was call out someone who he knew was not a possible fight. That is like screaming in a forest where nobody can hear you. BIG DEAL!!!

Arum was promoting both. Arum said, Cotto may be the guy to beat Floyd but was still on the green side and needed another 1.5 years or so. Same with Hatton. Same with Canelo ..... see the pattern?

Praise Manny? Well, this is why it's easier to praise Manny. Last year, the top 3 WWs, Floyd, Bradley and Marquez all didn't want to fight Manny. Manny, even after the KO loss, wanted to fight all comers. While Floyd is NOT interested in fighting the riskier fights.
