But there's no doubt that the Marquez KO, and to some extent, the Bradley "loss" as well -- damaged his aura. Majorly. His numbers were still behind Floyd's prior to those fights, but he was at least in the neighborhood.
The second Bradley fight only did 90k less than the first. Both did significantly more than the Clottey fight, which was during Pac's peak in 2010. He was fighting guys like Hatton, Cotto, Mosley, and Marquez too. All significant names in the sport. Algieri and Rios aren't quite on that level. Bradley neither, truth be told.

I'm not buying this fight for the simple fact that Algieri doesn't have the power to knockout Pacquiao and he damn sure ain't getting no decision in China or wherever the hell they fighting so however it goes down Pacquiao will win I just hope its a double header when they replay it on HBO

Even as a Manny fan I can admit that this being a PPV fight is pretty ridiculous. If there was ever a time to put Manny back on a regular HBO subscription fight -- this would be the one. I mean at least with Rios, he was a regular on HBO before him & MP's fight in Macau.

Algieri was a freaking ESPN guy before his first HBO appearance his last time out...and that was a Ruslan Provodnikov showcase. That's the only reason Algieri was even on HBO.

Or f**k, how about lowering the cost. If I recall correctly Hopkins/Dawson was like $30 bucks. Or maybe $40. It damn sure wasn't full price. This fight at $69.99 is criminal.
