When Froch retires people will regret hating on Froch. Never ducks anyone and has one of the best back to back fight records currently. 6 years of fighting mostly elite fighters.

He's going to be a first or second ballot HOFer, but he isn't even the best super middleweight of his generation.

In the weight classes 30 year history I would say he is an all time great super middleweight

        definitely a hall of famer

I wouldn't say he is an all time great in a pound for pound sense though, but in a divisional weight class way, he is.

Fought most of the top fighters in his era like Kessler(2x), Andre Ward, Andre Dirrel, George Groves, Arthur Abraham, Glen Johnson,Jermain Taylor, Jean Pascal, and Robin Reid....only losing to Ward and Kessler and avenging his loss to Kessler.

Depends on the logic/criteria for ATG.

I would say so the dude is a beast and has an excellent Resume. 3 time world Champion and never ducked a soul. Hes a throwback fighter if you ask me. a win over Chavez Jr would be a great way to finish his already HOF career.

Honestly the word "Great" has a new meaning now......."pretty good"!
Seriously their must be 3 guys in every weight class in the past 15 years that are ATG's! What a joke, and anyone who thinks that Froch is an ATG fighter doesn't understand what it takes to be an ATG!
              Ray.

Froch has an ATG Resume with only one loss

How come the same person that said Froch isn't an ATG would say that Tommy Hearns who was knocked out by a better fighter is an ATG
Did you honestly just try to compare Froch to Hearns???

Froch... an ATG??? HAHA.... no, not even close. He's not even a lock for the HOF, unless there's another fighter named Froch that I don't know.

Froch has the best resume of any super middleweight ever, in my opinion. That counts for something.

Don't know if he's ATG, I have a feeling more americans would say he was if he was American. He's easily a HOFamer and possibly the greatest british fighter ever or for a very long time at least.

Funny how people claim he should move up. And do what exactly? Froch is a fit guy and is able to stay in his weightclass where throughout the years, it just so happens that there were great fights.

Did everyone suddenly forget that the LHW division stunk for years and has only recently become a little better?
