JMM needs to earn a title shot... I don't like the fact that he and his team think they are entitled to it and are now cherrypicking fights.
Ducking Rios, Khan, Guerrero, Provodnikov,...

None of those are better fights than Brook.

Cherypicking better fights is good.

Otherwise you have Khan fighting Devon instead of Brook or Thurman, PAC vs Algieri farce, etc.

JMM, losing to Bradley, was put to the back of the line. Since then, he whined, ducked Provo and PAC rematch, and chose to face Alvarado instead.

Brook has more lucrative $$$ fights he's looking at including Khan, Mayweather, and PAC. JMM doesn't bring the same $. He needs to get busy and face a legit fighter or GTFO and retire. No one cares about JMM's decision anymore.

He could've stayed busy, and pushed for a Khan, Guerrero, Garcia type fight. But no, he's trying to wait out for the fight he wants. It's not there.

Marquez is one of my all-time favorites, but I think it's too late in the game for Marquez to beat such a skilled fighter in his prime. He had a hard time with Alvarado, who is a B level fighter at best. I hope he doesn't pursue this one and just hangs them up. Either way, you can never count Dinamita out.

I wouldn't exactly say he had trouble with Alvarado. Yes he got knocked down, but he pretty much always gets stunned (at least) in every fight. He dominated and won almost every round.

Brook, however, is a completely different type of fighter. I understand how some think he could beat Marquez. But you can see the delusional ones from the real fans when they say stuff like "Brook by KO in 6 rounds" or something equally ******.

Really hope this fight happens, and I would favor Marquez if it did.

With blood testing the Marquez who fought Bradley shows up...
