I would go for it, if I was him. I would say it is a winnable fight for Marquez. Brook is the weak link in the devision. He is also highly overrated for, beating the man who beat Pauli Malignagg. When Paulie was on top of his game, he was maybe an average fighter at best. It was just a matter of time before this "old and battle battle-worn" version of Paulie got knocked out.

I am a Pac fan, but because Bradley beat Marquez, I don't see that as Brook being able to "beat the stuffin out of Marquez". I think Bradley could beat the "stuffin" out of Brook.

None of those are better fights than Brook.

Cherypicking better fights is good.

Otherwise you have Khan fighting Devon instead of Brook or Thurman, PAC vs Algieri farce, etc.

he basically made ricardo lopez nonexistent and almost ruined marquez career in the beginning with the paquiao negotiations.

You have to appreciate guys who have the balls to take on huge challenges. My dude Gamboa hopped up a few divisions to fight the best guy there, put in a good performance and went out guns blazing....did nothing but make me an even bigger fan.

JMM goes to England, gets out muscled and then cries robbery. Again! It worked for him so many times but once he tried to do it after losing to Bradley, people got wind of what he's been doing for so long. And honestly, if he goes and beats Brook, how good is it really??? Mayweather and Pacquiao are the other two belt holders. They are the true champions of the welterweight division.
