Canelo landed the only noteworthy shots of the fight constantly landing huge uppercuts and overhand rights while Trout was busy throwing weak jabs. There was no substance from Trout who quite simply got outboxed, fight was close on the cards but outcome would have been more dominant on the cards had Alvarez been more active.

He shattered Trout's confidence as he came in thinking he would make easy work of Canelo after the Cotto fight, and it's no coincide he's been down every fight since Canelo put him down for the first time.

No problems here. Cotto gets to make a big payday vs Canelo before cashing out vs GGG. Cotto is solid, but if he gets past GGG he's superman... which is doubtful. And hey, he might not get past Canelo. More than a few wars on the old frame.
