I would rejoice to have him unify the MW champions , and getting his family the money for their future (it will be a megafight vs cotto/canelo) , then he can go and earn is stripes in the hardcore fan forums (i.e - YOU)
why everyone wants him to jump ship from MW (which he isnt even ranked #1 in most sites/papers , its Cotto) when he has the money fights finally lined up as mandatories for him ? he worked so hard for this moment and everyone wants him to skip it..... let him have his moment for cries sake.
Ward can come down to 160 and fight tomorrow if he wants like everyother fighter can.
Bhop ? now he needs to fight LHW ? like Ward SOG went to fight Bhop or Kovalev right ? STFU already , let the guy win his division and earn that money fight to make him a star , after that he can go to the lions den @ 168 and may the chips fall where they fall.

I honestly don't want to see Golovkin-Cotto. We all know Cotto's only a MW title holder from beating a crippled Martinez. And the whole Cotto resurgence consists of that fight and Delvin Rodriguez...

If Golovkin's going to fight a smaller man atleast let them have some speed advantage like Lara, Andrade, or Charlo. Andrade just tweeted Golovkin's too slow for him. I hear some philly guys talking too, JRock's not quit ready, but then he shouldn't be fighting JSK either...

Call out Ward or Froch. Why you calling out junior middleweights for? And before the hippies reply with "Cotto's the middleweight champ", he only went to MW for history, not for a living. Max did a bad interview job by not mentioning Ward or Froch and only mentioning Cotto and Canelo.

I agree, Lords! Only true boxing fans would truly realize that! Cotto's not EVEN a true MW! Call out Andre Ward or Froch and let's see if he is legitimate! HBO sees dollar signs with this guy because they have no other marquee fighters and they have to get someone to generate PPV buys so rest assured this guy will be protected for a while....

Aren't Trinidad and DLH some of Hopkins' best wins? That's when he broke through, and neither guy was lineal and ranked above him at MW.

Miguel holds THE belt at MW, if he keeps the belt then he is not too small. If he drops it and returns to 154 then fair enough.

As it stands, Cotto and Canelo should be next.
