    Why step on the gas?
Because it's professional boxing. Fans are paying for you to give your best, not to cruise to victory. It would be like seeing Usain Bolt jog to the finish line because he could.

And you don't care to be entertained? Then what the hell do you watch it for? It's a sport it isn't a college course.

Who is we? Defensive boxers are not crowd pleasing boxers.Just cuz you like them doesnt mean everyone else does or doesnt know boxing.

I bet Manny Pacquiao has replayed the final moments of his 4th fight with JMM a million times and wishes he hadn't "stepped on the gas." Fact is, if he had stayed under control, he would have likely stopped JMM within 3-4rds. But he didn't, and had his brain sent into orbit because of it.

Look at the real fight ob the card tonight. Walters damn near got KO'd by an inferior fighter going for broke. But when he sat back, worked behind his jab, and took advantage of Donaire's mistakes, broke him down, and stopped him.

As for entertainment. I'm a fan of the art of boxing. What Ward did to Dawson was beautiful. Nothing in boxing is more entertaining than what Rigondeaux did to Donaire. The common denominator is that it was done to top fighters. GGG is an excellent fighter. But I can't get excited watching him dismantle suck ass fighters. Sorry.

We is the educate folk who appreciate da footwork and the art of clinching. No but all bull**** aside there is no correct form of boxing, beauty is in the eye of beholder. All these elitist thinking they're intellectual minds solely because they appreciate guys like Ward are fcking delusional. Recognition and entertainment are two different en******, it's perfectly acceptable to be bored by Ward but recognizing he's a hell of a fighter at the same time.

I was a disappointed with fight ending so early. I understand where you're coming from but we have to wait for someone to make these fight where Golovkin can truly be tested. I want him in there mixing up Ward though I think Ward need a tune up before he goes for Golovkin, he been out of the ring far too long.

You also don't want to fight 12 rounds and leave it up to the judges either like Pac/Bradley 1. Boxing shouldn't be where you clinch and move and hit without the intent of hurting the guy for 12 round decisions either.

He's one of those types who thinks fans of everyone else dont know boxing because they dont like the Laras, Rigos, Floyds, BHops, Wards, etc. Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
