Donaire was verry good and well prepared but Walters is just better. It was a verry good fight!! Donaire had good moments too.

        • I like Walters he impressed me w/his overall boxing abilities he knew about that hook and keep his hands up to block almost everyone his defense in general was better than I had anticipated his jab was great while his uppercut isn't fast it's accurate/very powerful.

I still think he's a little slow/clunky or maybe not supremely fluid with everything he does but he's official a problem at 126.

          • What I like about Walters is that his jab is good enough to let him take his time when he wants to. But when he wants to turn up the heat he really knows how to do it too. That's a dangerous combination, he's not just an aggressive fighter who can't handle being pushed back, he can hold people off and get his thoughts together.

Not one other fighter with a name has stepped up to fight Rigo except Donaire. He took on as difficult a fight as was available in facing Walters. And yet these simpletons are still calling Donaire a duck. What can you do with people that dumb.
As much as i love this sport I feel the same way. Some of these guys are beyond ****** and biased.

Donaire was already showing signs of decline but still took a dangerous fight in his fourth weight class.

              • I'm glad my prediction was totally off, because that was a good fight with a great ending, and no excuses. Donaire's day is well and truly done, and Walters is the real deal. Good sportsmanship still exists.

                • Great win for Walters last night this guy showed us he can take a hit as well as giving one back. He got hurt at the end of the 2nd round and came back stronger in the third. He has strong punches from both sides and his defense is pretty good. I picked Walters to beat Donaire by KO. It was a hard fight for Donaire, but he did give it his all and lost. He will bounce back from this, he still a pretty solid fighter that can beat guys in the division.

Well said. The reasons these fake a$$ fans hate on Donaire for are quite irrational.

                    • I never even heard of this guy, but he definitely just ended Donaire career.
