I think the sky is the limit with that dude. he has the size and tools to pull it off as long as hes not too chinny which we don't know yet. but hell,, wlad is still chinny and still dominated so we shall see
I agree. But Jennings toughed it out and stuck in there. Wilder will fold against Stiverne.

Joshua is a good talent. He's come on a bit since the debut a year ago. But the best all round talent is Hughie Fury IMO, I'm expecting big things from him.

So you mean an exact Repetition of what happened to klitschko?

Two things strike me here. Americans think they truly reflect the world, so if they say the division sucks, then it must suck.. However outside the USA Heavy weight fights are still the main event.
And Americans are so fucking insecure and can't deal with not being number 1 at everything.. When they aren't.. The first thing they do is malign whatever they are not number one at and then act like they don't care. When they are number one.. It suddenly matters again.

It gets boring after a while.
        Spot on! ......

Where were you 8-10 years ago? The HW division was MUCH worse then than it is now.

As for what happens when Wlad retires? Nothing. Pulev will continue to reign supreme.

Vlad vs Pulev should tell us something about how good Pulev really is.

The division has ****** since the early 2000's. The only real proven commodity in the division is Wladimir. They're are some guys with potential but they're unproven. It'll be a free for all once Wlad is gone. A guy like Haye, if he's still fighting, would arguably be the world's best Heavyweight.

You guys should stop disrespecting Pulev by asking questions like "what will happen when Wlad retires", "do you think xyz has a chance of beating Wlad" etc.

Nothing will happen when Wlad retires and who cares if xyz has a chance against him or not. Wlad's days as HW king are numbered. A little less than a month is left.

I imagine some shady matchmaking to protect investments and some titles trading hands.

I was on WSHH recently and a guy was all like "we need a dominant champion and another 70s era". We already have a dominant champion. What you're wanting is an American as champion (which isn't a bad thing IMO but c'mon.. don't hide behind the dominant crap)

                  Also, 90s > 70s

That 'golden era' really wasn't that great.

I agree. People need to remove their rose tainted glasses when it comes to the actual quality of the 70s heavyweights.
