Boxing was huge and mainstream before Floyd. Boxing thrived when Floyd went into multiple fake retirement and there was not even outcry for him to come back when he was gone unless it was to fight Pac. Boxing will continue to thrive once he officially retires.Last edited by Deevel916; 10-17-2014, 09:56 AM.

SRR and Pep also faced over 100 opponents each..the volume of fights they faced have to also be taken into account for...it's amazing. Pep fought 2 guys in 1 week before lol.

World champions mean nothing...There have been so many world champs. Heck even Algieri is a world champ.

Like I said you spin any BS Manny rolls in just so he can come up smelling rosy .
Manny is ducking genuine WWs is so obvious and your spin wont change it .
Taking the Schaeffer/Haymon vs Arum feud into account, at this point in time, the reasons have more to do with "slim pickings" than Manny not wanting to fight a true WW. Manny did it before so your argument is a JOKE! Perhaps in 2015, things will get better and there will be more to choose from. Or Manny will go down to 140.
As for Bradley: Everyone wanted to see Manny take on a young lion like Bradley and many gave Bradley a really good shot at winning. It was considered to be a very risky fight for Manny. So its YOU that should stop spinning it to make it sound like it was a duck.
Bradley had fought at WW before. He came in at a full 147 against Abregu. He also fought at that weight in the amateurs. Bradley also beat the guy that beat Manny
Here is Andre Ward saying that his toughest opponent ever was Bradley:

There is a reason unbiased boxing writers/media/journalists have floyd ahead of manny-they use one set of criteria and judge each fighter equally on those criteria.
It would be nice if Manny fans could be objective when they rank fighters.

Its petty and childish to try and define someone based on what they didn't do.

Why bring in Manny? This isn't about Manmy...This is about Floyd's legacy and place amongst the greats.

Manny has ahd a great career, won a FOTD, won multiple FOTY awards and is the 3rd highest PPV seller of all time. Just be satisfied with that, stop trying to place him on the tier he doesn't belong.
Is it really terrible to be the 26th best boxer since WWII?
