If Canelo beats Cotto in May then I have no doubt in my mind that he will fight GGG next September. Canelo has shown the tendency of wanting to prove to his fans that he isn't afraid to test himself against anybody. Book it GGG vs Canelo September 2015!

ya i never knew if it was possible with the weight but chavez canelo would probably be the biggest fight in mexican history by far and it would also be huge just in the usa alone among boxing fans

How I long for the throw back era of "I'll fight whoever, whenever, wherever, however and where do I sign?"

Instead we are left with the era of:

"I'll fight you two or three years down the line"

"I'll fight you but let me see how many PPV buys you have to see if you are worthy"

"I'll fight you but you first must agree to this ridiculous catchweight"

"I'LL fight you only if you agree to leave your promoter and sign under my promotional banner."

"I wont fight you in a championship fight unless you let me walk out last despite you being the champ because I am the "A" side of the card."

"I won't fight you unless you wear my pillow size gloves. "

Anyone else like to add to this list feel free I know I missed a few.

Once Canelo takes back over Cinco de Mayo from Floyd (LOL, Floyd MAD about that too!!!), he'll be our generation's Oscar - fighting everybody, and will take a few L's along the way most likely, but will have so much more respect than taking the route of a Mayweather.

Floyd fought Canelo similarly to when Floyd fought Castillo if you switch the roles... Castillo obviously won but Floyd got better...I expect Canelo to better when he moves up in weight... his speed will match up better with bigger, slower guys..right now Canelo needs to stay from moving down in weight and fighting smaller fast guys..like Pac @ 152 would be suicide for him..Pac would Rios Canelo all night...

Canelo I think can beat those bigger guys because he can hit them...and those bigger guys don't run like Lara...
