I know but Hearn's announcement about Kell's soft touch opponent for a homecoming bout came before the stabbing.

I'm not mad or anything, i like Kell and i wish him the best. Summer/Fall we are going to get a big fight from him i'm sure.

Maybe Hearn hired the stabber so that Kell's homecoming bout against a soft touch looks legit? That's taking promotion to a whole other twisted level but its beginning to make sense now.

But jokes aside, Kell has a few options to make that homecoming bout at least somewhat interesting. 147 has a few faded "name" fighters who aren't considered a-level anymore so he might potentially fight a faded but known fighter next which would add to the appeal of the fight compared to if he just fought a no-name

as far as the story goes it seems like it genuinely happened, although details are kind of sketchy. there could be more to it
Believe me Kell would fight and beat Khan with one leg and one eye, forget this your wasting your time. Kell can't wait to knock out this bum and rid us all of this clown and his clan. Khan will not doubt fight the light hitting GHOST next as the Ghost looked crap against a very average but tough opponent last time out and finished the fight with a completely closed eye.Khan IF he wins will carry on begging for the MONEY...period ! He or more so his advisers want no part of Kell Brook, Good luck and a speedy full recovery to kell, the best in Britain..... ps Not a go at flatline

I can't see Kell beating Khan if he's not 100% fit & ready, but if he is then I see it as a 50/50 fight, they have an equal chance of winning. It's a great match up on paper. As far as Khan fighting Ghost, well it's fair enough - he's a former Mayweather opponent and a good benchmark for Khan to test himself on. Ghost is no pushover either, he's one tough fighter to beat so that is by no means an easy fight for Khan.

When you look down the list the ghost is by far the easy option and I agree for Khan the ghost is no easy option but have some prospective here Mayweather won every round against the ghost and since then the ghost has had a year out and not looked good against a very average opponent. Beating Robert puts your name in the picture but unless it is a spectacular beating doesn't wet any ones appetite for a Mayweather fight this is great match making from Al and the Khans .....nothing new he has always been odds on favourite in his fights.Kells the only real hope !
