Yes... It seems that GBP is going down...
Schaefer was the architect of the empire...

So if that was truly the case wouldn't Delahoya being the smart business man he is realized that Schaefer ran it into the ground and accepted a buyout for the sinking ship that is GBP ? Or did he not see that coming ? Which is probably precisely the reason investors are backing out... Oscar is out of his league.

Going into rehab the week of Floyd v canelo surely didn't make the investors feel positive about working with ODH without SChaffer.

The Networks will continue doing business with GBP and others promoters rather than dealing with the untrustworthy Haymon.

Dela Hoya trusted Schaefer, that's obvious. Turned out that D!ck was good at painting a rosy picture of DLH's company. During Schaefer's last days at GBP, you could see his desperation by trying to make the Cotto/Canelo fight. Let's face it, GBP didn't make any money off of Mayweather's fights. TBE is too greedy to share profits.

Fast rewind, Schaefer's troubles began when fights were getting canceled left and right. Fights that they've invested enormous amounts of money and time in. There was Pederson vs Khan 2, then there was Berto vs Ortiz 2 due to PED testing issues. D1ck was furious at VADA. Later, the Morales vs Garcia almost got cancelled due the same issues.

Bottom line is, all these financial troubles happened in Schaefer's watch.

I don't think it is at all. Schaefer constructed this empire. Oscar was the face. Numerous people have said it time and time again. We are just beginning to realize how true it is.

Hate to see the Goldenboy and the company go down, but once again I hate all promoters.

We just have to wait to see how this goes down and if its good or bad in the long run.

So wouldn't the investors have assumed the worst (Schaefer) was behind them and With Delahoya at the helm there investment is in better hands now ?

GBP will soon be a subsidiary of Top Rank. DLH was too busy snorting the investment up his nose or sticking it in his butt. Investors don't like that.

Who knows what their reasons are? It could be a lot of things and I don't blame them. Boxing is almost dead right now. Fighters are ducking each other, they want huge money for fighting cab drivers. Who would make any profit in these kinds of scenarios? I'd get out of this ****** business as soon as possible if I were a promoter.

Main point is that Schaefer was running things like a king for years. You gotta be an idiot to blame Oscar for the shareholders not getting a return on their investment. You also make it sound as if Oscar don't have any interest in seeing his company grow. He's the major shareholder, for crying out loud.
