So this rumor that Price knocked AJ out cold in sparring, anyone shed any light?

I first heard this 3/4 months ago so if it did happen it was a while back and isn't the reason why Price has suddenly started sounding off about fighting Joshua.
Could be they sparred back when AJ was still a novice and Price hurt him with a big punch.
It wouldn't surprise me. Even with pillow gloves and a head-guard, you wouldn't want to get tagged with one of Price's right hand bombs.

It is something of a big fight. Price still has a following in Liverpool and Joshua is slowly becoming a star across the whole country. As long as it's not on PPV.

Sounds like a good British title level fight. If it happened in a few fights time I'd favour AJ but Price is a live opponent and dangerous. And the perfect example of why a prospect shouldn't be rushed along too quickly. AJ's 24 and 9-0, absolutely no reason to skip the usual 15-20 learning fights.

It would be great but I don't see it. Another KO defeat finishes Price, and a KO defeat for Joshua kills the hype he's building stone dead. Too risky for both of them.

It would let us know if Joshua's for real, because Price sucks.

lol at very big fight, Hearns thinks any 1/2 decent scrap is a big fight. Might as well put it on PPV.

Price is not very good at all but I guess we at least get to find out it Joshua is as good as Tony Thompson...

If he keeps building up momentum, every Anthony Joshua fight will be big by the end of next year. The boxing world is dying for a new dominant heavyweight that they can worship.
