Bottom line with Bozo is, he hates to be wrong, and he hates for anyone to say anything less than James Toney is going to clean out the division, or for anyone to mention Toney's weight. Since all of these things ocasionally occur, he is going to act like even more of a ***** than usual on occasion.

First of all, for a foriegn champ to go into Germany to defend his title is nothing to roll your eyes at. That just shows your ignorance.

It scared Roy to death, and he lost a LOT of credibility with serious boxing fans and historians for refusing to fight Dariusz. If Dariusz (the true, unified champion) was "hiding in his own backyard" then what EXACTLY would you call what Roy was doing? LOL Roy was NOT the champ at 175. Dariusz was. He unified 3 titles. That starts the lineage. Two were immediately and wrongly stripped from him, but you can't strip the lineage. Roy then fought for them and won them vacantly (ie. paper titles). Meanwhile, Darius went undefeated for like 12 years and yes, at age 35, he finally dropped a close decision to Gonzalez after defending his title like 20 times, against many of the same names Roy beat at 175. Roy was begged by fans, writers, historians, HBO, EVERYONE, to fight Dariusz. But he never would leave his "backyard" to go into Germany to fight the real champion.

And please name the "gift decisions" that Dariusz got. I've seen many of his fights, and have yet to see a gift decision.

See, what you are doing is trying to absolve Roy of any criticism and want to dish it all on Joe. Tsk-tsk. No, no, my little friend. Roy has earned his share just like Joe. (The point of this thread which I'm trying to hammer into your titanium reinforced skull). No double-standards, son.

lol, you can't back up any of the trife you say about Joe, so again with the essays, you look to change the subject to Roy, who again, no one doubts the legacy or HoF status of.

Darius is a joke, and he was hiding in Germany. He struggled badly with Richard Hall twice, and was soundly beaten by Julio Gonzalez, who Roy beat 120-105.

Darius was in the US for the Jones Hill fight, and never returned. He sat in his own back yard, and struggled with Roy's leftovers before being throughly outpointed by one of them that Roy beat with Ease.

We can talk about Roy all night. He's an assured Hall of Famer, his legacy is secured as great, and he's univerasally recognized as one of if not the best fighter of his last generation.

Everything you can't say about Calzaghe at this point.

You're a loser who's looking to change the subject because his 500 word essays of non sense are easilly picked apart as being non sense, and desperate rambling.

Stop wasting your own time. You have yet to make a credible point in this tread at all.

LOL Man is that titanium reinforced, space age stuff. This is all about not leaving your own country. I'm sorry it got too complicated for you. You spewed a bunch of nonsense about Dariusz and I called you on it. I adressed everything you said, and yet you ignore my rebuttals and just repeated what you said before, which was all wrong, and then asked why we were discussing it.

LOL Dude, if you can't keep up, then just bow out. It's like arguing with a child.

You're right about that, because when you can't back up what you say, you change the subject.

You didn't dispell any non sense about Daruis. He was afraid to leave Germany, wanted no part of Roy, struggled with his left overs, and was in the end defeated by Gonzalez who Jones toyed with.

The only reason you started in on it was because you had nothing to say about what was being discussed earlier after essentially agreeing with me, and looked to try and save face by twisting the topic.

            You need to grow up.

Dude, I can see you can't walk and chew gum. Dariusz was the champ. The onus was not on him, but on Roy. I mean, that's pretty straight forward. Isn't that what WE (in the US) say when we have a champion and a fighter doesn't want to come here? You can't have it both ways. Dariusz' split decision loss to Gonzalez was at age 35 in 2003, after like I said, defending his title about 20 times. About the same time that Roy fell off and was KO'd cold back-to-back.

And I hate to break it to you, but THIS IS what we were discussing earlier. We were comparing fighters' careers who are locks on the HoF (mainly Jones and Hopkins) with Joe's career to date. I mean, can you not remember back a couple pages?

LOL Dude, I can see you need very straight-forward discussions that are not multi-dimensional or you just totally lose your place and stand there lost and alone, like a kid whose mom forgot to pick him up from school.

Darius wanted no part of leaving Germany, or fighting Roy. He was a paper champion, and widely regarded as a joke. And I'm guessing you didn't see that fight with Gonzalez, because he was outworked the entire way. He was also getting battered in both fights with Hall, and was the benifit of some very suspect stoppages. He was stripped of the two major titles he had for not wanting to leave Germany or fight mandated challengers. He was a homer, and a fraud.

What we were discussing was Calzaghe's chances at the Hall of Fame, which you agreed, are not good right now.

You didn't and still don't understand the failed logic in comparing his career to certian aspects of Jones' and Hopkins' career when he has none of the accomplishments to go with them.

Your failure to grasp this, and your eagerness to change the subject show how frustrated and desperate you are to save face. But that's no suprise with you.

Maybe you can explain that bit to me about Darius being a 'paper champion' and 'a joke'. By who exactly? Roy fans.

Darius was the linear champ at 175, not Jones. Fact of the matter is that Jones looked flat out ridiculous with his alphabet belts when the real champ only had one (the other belts were wrongfully stripped).

As for Darius wanting no part of leaving Germany, he at least travelled to the states to attend a Roy fight, which is a damn sight more than Jones ever did to get the fight on.

The real champ at 175 was DM. RJJ was the paper champ. Ever heard the expression 'To be the man, you've got to beat the man'? DM was 'The Man' and RJJ never beat him, case closed.

                      Please.

Darius saw what happened to hill, got back on a plane and never came back. He was then stripped of the major titles he had for not wanting to face the mandated challengers.

No one in their right mind regarded him as the better fighter between the two, and his "Ottke" like habbit of sitting in Germany facing Roy's leftovers showed what he was all about.

He struggled with Richard Hall, and was soundly beaten by Gonzalez.
