And when cotto was hot on his trail after his victory over shane mosley in nov of 07, floydie "retires" after his win vs hatton dec of 07 stating, "im gonna retire from boxing, boxing is not gonna retire me".

If Floyd was fighting Danny Garcia, you would be calling that a "cherry-pick!" But If Manny fights him next, it would be so very different!
Cotto Rios? Sure, Cotto > Rios but did you forget that Pacquiao has already fought Cotto? And before you say Floyd fought Cotto at 154, remember that Cotto didn't beat anyone legit at 154 to earn the belt... he beat a shot Mayorga, a rabbi with one knee, and shot Margarito w/o plaster of paris.
I agree Maidana > Algieri but at the same time, Algieri is a much better boxer than Maidana is. Maidana has the power advantage.

Mayweather has a bit more drawing power than Manny, but it's close. A 55-45 or 60-40 would have been fair but $40,000,000 flat is bogus.

Who's Floydie?! I think that its impossible to have an objective conversation with anyone who refers to Floyd Mayweather Jr and "Floydie".Last edited by ScantsRants; 10-13-2014, 03:01 PM.

No bradley is not "as much of a hype job as Broner". Really? broner struggled with little taylor.
