I like Shannon Briggs - he's brash talking, outrageous and charismatic and it doesn't particularly strike me as mean spirited. I'd love to see Wladimir fight Briggs but only after he earns his title shot.

A guy like Briggs should not be rewarded a title shot for bad behavior and trash talk. One of the lesser aspects of boxing is when we see an undeserving fighter get a title shot - that usually results in mismatch that is not appealing to boxing fans. If you reward undeserving fighters with title shots, then there is not incentive for those fighters to fight the best opponents and to 'earn' a title shot the old fashioned hard way.
