I dont think it has. Hes avoided almost every fight that would test his heart IMO. His skills are always on display and they are something to admire,,, but his heart? Nah, he's scuured!
Has Floyds "heart" ever been on display

Disagree and I don't like Floyd and his matchmaking, but....
No Heart=quit in Castillo 1
No Heart=not taking big shots and keep going(lots of times)
No Heart=quitting vs Maidana the way Ortiz did
No Heart=not fighting ANYONE way bigger than you
Most fighters have heart man, not saying he's a Holyfield or Ward, but he's got heartComment

I agree. His most dangerous opponents were a shot Oscar, a green Canelo, a war-torn Cotto, and a wild brawler Maidana
Although the Canelo fight didn't turn out to be dangerous, that's mainly because Canelo and his HORRID game plan.
The rest of his fights were wildly predictable.
That's not many "tests" of heart in 15+ years of boxing.Comment

so when he had that strong 11th to go toe to toe with JLC, that wasnt tested? When he almost got KTFO by Chop but came back to win that same round, it wasnt tested? When Mosley almost decapitated him twice but Floyd came back to control the round by the end, it wasnt tested? Having that battle with Cotto wasnt tested? Dont hate. You dont have to like him but his will to win is greater then you are giving him credit for. He's routinely outweighed by 15 plus pounds in the ring but still wins and even walks guys down at timesComment

I beg to differ. How you react to adversity is exactly what testing your heart is, regardless if it's your wife slapping you or God himself. But DLT's post sums things up nicely.Comment

well, its either because he doesnt put himself in that situation or nobody he's faced has been capable of putting him there. For me he dug deep against maidana in the prefight, no-inside-fighting-ref, bigger ring and pillow gloves. that's digging so deep.Comment
