I smell complete B.S here. Rigo has no offers over $200,000,period. If he did then he would jump at it. ROC NATION wants to make a splash with a BIG fight and an exciting title match-up. They don't want Rigo on Unimas or ESPN the Ocho.

From what I remember reading, Rigo held his Willie Casey training camp in Hyde's back yard in Dublin.

Rigo is all chummy with Caribe because they provide him his bling.

If Frank Warren or Roc Nation gave details of their offer, we would know whether either Hyde or Caribe Promotions or both are blowing smoke.

Beyond that, it's just hugely messed up to for an athlete like Rigo to not earn solid money for his world class skills.

It doesn't matter what Roc Nation or Frank Warren offered. Whatever it was it is more than he's making under Caribe, which is nothing. Rigondeaux has no fights scheduled and no money coming in. Caribe Promotions is supposed to be a promoter, yet they can't get him a fight unless he has a co-promoter that will actually pay him to fight? That doesn't pass the smell test.

I'm pretty sure Warren and Roc want exclusive rights and will only move forward if Caribe sell their rights as co-promoter. They probably think Rigo is too much of a risk to invest too much into because although he's exceptionally skilled, his style isn't too TV-friendly and he's already fallen out with one network. Also he doesn't speak English so it makes it difficult to market him to a wider audience. Tough situation for Rigo, hope it works out,

Is this a joke? Whi gives a **** if Hyde is there during sparring or not he is the reason why rigo was making 600k a fight and caribe is the reason why rigo lost a 1.8 million dollar contract. It seems Caribe Promotions can't lay out the cash to promote big fights so they have no potential revenue holding onto Rigo's contract unless they sell it to a more viable outfit.
