Toney vs. Rahman will at least have some close rounds if Toney runs away with it. Rock is too good to lose 9-10 rounds of a 12 round fight

There are other fights that fit this bill as well.

Lacy-Calzaghe is not the upset of the year. It may be performance of the year.
Good point. Definately a 'performance of the yr' runner, but not upset. Far too many knew Jeff's limitations going into this fight...actually, I think the upset would have been Jeff knocking Joe out in England. That would have been something else!

Upset of the year goes to my Steelers beating the Colts at Indianapolis during the playoffs.

Does anyone know the odds on the Lacy fight?

                    Judah-Baldomir or Lacy-Calzone eh?

Well put it this way. Before each fight Lacy-Calzone was 80-20 in favour of Lacy on these boards, just to take one fan group. And from the same fan group Judah-Baldomir was 95-5 in favour of Judah...

So biggest upset goes to Judah-Baldomir up until this point in the year, simply because it was such a reversal of the odds. There was no1 here who thought Baldomir would win. There were a couple here who thought Calzaghe would win. Thats the difference.

                      UPSET OF THE YEAR?

it was barely an upset, period

a defending champ, defending his title basically on his hometurf, versus a solid yet inexperienced up and comer....Upset of the Year?

I guess Tyson's KO of McNeeley was the Upset of the Decade
