This is what I thought Cotto and his team would do. Truthfully, why shouldn't they? Cotto vs Sergio did more than Canelo vs a popular Mexican fighter in Angulo. He's not oblivious to that. Plus, he's the champ, he's the one that isn't going back to HBO and has TR on his side.

Why should, or would, he fight on a Mexican holiday when he can fill 20,000+ seats in his second home? Like I I've said before, I like Canelo and his bravado, but he's out here attempting to get things handed to him rather then earning them

I have no issue with his decision, Kershaw's our best pitcher and our bullpen with the exception of Janses is awful. You leave it in your best pitchers hand unfortunately he left one hanging. Again he was pitching a great game and completely blew it in one inning, the seventh inning again.

Puig has been awful, 8 k's in the series and he ran for Ellis who had been our best hitter this series. Saying that I would have let him pinch-hit instead of Turner.

I can see that scenario, but Canelo is a straight brat. You think he'll go for that? If I were Cotto, I'd do a May bout in either NY or a June fight in Vegas so long as Canelo gets the Sergio treatment in terms of promotion and ring enhances/intros, national anthems and money

Kershaw is MLB version of Peyton Manning. Great in the regular season chokes his az off in the playoffs. He alone cost the yoyers 2 fawking games.
