Floyd is a WW, that is his weight, the weight class he comfortably fights at.

If big money is on the table however, Oscar, Canelo, Cotto, will he move up and fight there like he has 3 times in the last 7 years. A weight that he's obviously small for but again, for big money, he will go there.

No one fits into that catergory of big money at the moment, so, he will fight at his weight class, which is, 147.

Which part of this bit by bit breakdown do you not understand?
Jesus Christ , let me repeat to you:

Floyd holds belts at the jr. middleweight, Floyd holds belts at the jr. middleweight, Floyd holds belts at the jr. middleweight...
I know, I know, I know that Floyd is a welterweight... he is a welterweight... a welterweight...

Though: no sanctioning body stipulates that if not big boney is on the table the belt holder is entitled not to defend his belt because he's a welterweight...

I don't give a shit if Floyd doesn't fight Golovkin or Ward or BHop for the 154 belts -- because it's absurd.

Mayweather on the other hand has excuse after excuse for not making any kind of fight fans would want to see.

GGG would be an excellent fight. A fight that you know would draw money. Like I've said, Im not asking him to fight Lara, Vanes, or Andrade. Those guys make no financial sense. But a fight with GGG at 154 does. Everyone can see this, except for Mayweather and his band of kiss arse choir boys who are to busy making nonsensical excuses.
like i said before i don't have an issue with gg at 154 either.......but don't act like its a duck if floyd doesn't fight him because that bs! ggg hasn't put himself in a position to even be ducked.

Well like I've said for the third time now, Floyd should have been stripped of those belts.

He holds belts there, doesn't change the fact he's a WW.

based on what? your imagination. golovking sells 8000 tickets per fight as a headliner and has done over a million viewers headlining on hbo at least 3 times. most the guys on the list did not/have not done that. maybe baldomir...lol!

          • GGG has to be a ppv superstar to fight Floyd but Maidana and Guerrero who had no ppv history ever got to fight Floyd np.

... By the way: now that Ward finally broke free, I would curious to hear him again calling for GGG...

              • Floyd should do it, and because GGG is the much bigger man, I wouldn't even be mad if he did a re-hydration clause.

                Warning, spoiler alert.

GGG would immediately become a BUM, and tailor made for Floyd once the fight is signed...

Of course they have no basis for this claim.

It's just them fumbling for any excuse to say GGG and Mayweather wouldn't make sense.

floyd's all about that money though! he will fight anyone who makes him the most money...remember when his fans used to say that? those were the days. of course in those days he turned down 7 million to fight margarito and fought sharmba for 4 so it was never true. it was always about easy fights for easy money. it was always about keeping the money train rolling even if he had to run over a bunch of bums in the process.

But he keeps lobbying to keep them, asks to defend at 147...
