There should be no other way to approach Hopkins at this point if a guy doesn't be physical and push the pace on him then that guys deserve to lose.

B-Hop can't keep up physically with younger fresher fighters and needs to fight in spurts (really this has been the case for a while). Answer don't let him fight in spurts, the downside is he will still likely make you look bad in that process but looking good against B-Hop should never be the goal (and is a huge mistake to be going there mentally) the goal should be to take your win and get out.

Hopkins is good but i think his time is up.. Kovalev needs to show no respect or mercy

kovolev is going to win this one, and win it pretty easily...

I just dont see hopkins taking enough risk to win on points... he is going to make it a boring fight, but wont get off enough to win many rounds similar to taylor, calzaghe, dawson fights..

Ive never been as adamant about a big fight like I am with this one. Bhop literally has no chance. He's going to realize it early on and find a way out or make it ugly and cry robbery afterwards.

Hopkins hasnt been **** in years.

You know what he's never done? Never been knocked out, he's never been dominated in a fight, even in his losses he managed to make a fight out of it. He's also never done it like anyone else in the game. Listen Hopkins is the last of a dying breed. A fighter who started his professional career in '89 who today holds a belt and has managed to stay relevant all these yrs. STFU and show some respect to a living legend. I'm sure you will when he beats Kovalev. Kovalev's only shot is to go for the KO and get a stoppage in the early rounds. If it goes past round 6, it's a win for B-Hop mark my words.

Unless Kovalev moves his hands real fast, or is able to get an early stoppage, he loses. And I bet Kovalev's gonna show too much respect and be reluctant to pull the trigger, that will be his downfall, being too patient.

Hoping Kov wins but not planning on it. The typical BHop grab n hold-a-thon will happen, boring everyone to tears and frustrating Kov. But it would certainly be excellent if they get a ref in there penalizing BHop for any holding and Kov wins on points or gets stopped late on body shots. Stranger things have happened.

But jeez, BHop is just a boring blowhard now. Retire already.

Kovalev I don't think can go the full 12 rounds.

Last time I heard this it was Alvarado's people saying it about the Marquez fight. Turned out well.

Why is his heart in question? His toughness should never be questioned.
We've never seen Kovalev taken into deep water or seen how he responds to adversity.

You'd think it was Victor Ortiz stepping in there
it is people hating because they are butthurt middle aged men too lazy to get in shape

and all this "bhop sucks" talk "have you seen his last few fights"

yea, well, he IS 49 years old you know, name another fighter who has done what he has done at this age

shut up and go to the gym, im doing you a favour by telling you this
