I'm still impressed by how Brook showed so many things in his last fight that I had not seen. He was in his element against Porter and impressed the boxing world with a full arsenal of skills.
Marquez is a great lead puncher, he might not take the initiative all that well but when it comes to leading with punches he's exceptional in that department and Brook mainly defends by putting up a guard, Marquez will get through as he normally does. You need to move your head and upper body, I swear...I can't stretch that enough. The jab can do wonders but you have to do a lot more than that.

I think Bradley has much better head and upper body movement and is quicker on his feet than Kell Brook. And Marquez was coming on strong in the later rounds against Timmy. I can see him figuring out Brook early on and winning a decision here.

Marquez be eating that ramrod jab all night. He's too small.

          Brook should take this fight.

          Style suits him.

If it happens, every point I have that Brook not only wins, but utterly dominates.

JMM does not belong at 147, he's 40 years old and is slow. Brooks hammer jab will give him fits, he fights long which will also cause real problems and he hits very hard; Kell will beat him up.

Go back to playing with your coloring books. JMM isn't stopping anybody provided drug testing is in place... Did you hear that. DRUG TESTING. Watch the Bradley fight and when he was drug tested he looked like a smaller, slower, 40 year old counter puncher. Marquez can't beat Floyd, Manny, Brook, Porter, Thurman, Guerrero, Bradley, Provodnikov, or Maidana at 147. Hate to hurt everyone's feeling who'd love to sit down and drink a glass of pee with JMM. Keep Marquez off the juice and his career is over.

Good match for both especially if Khan and Floyd fight.
Khan vs Brook can still happen later even if both guys lose their fights.

I don't think that is a very good fight for JMM, although if the money was right (meaning the fight is probably in England) I could see him doing it though. I think Brook is too much man for JMM and enough boxing acumen to make it work for him, good bigger younger man beats great aging small man.

Porter is a wild fighter who uses his strength and athleticism to bully fighters, with very little thinking involved. I just see no relation in Brook-Porter and a Brook-Marquez fight.
That's why I don't use the Porter fight as an example and why I didn't use him in my synopsis. The common denominator is Bradley using a great jab against JMM is in essence is what Brook can do and would need to do to win.
