Those lil **** that think poter n brook would bloody Marquez. I have one question? When has Marquez ever been stopped? He is the greatest technical fighter of this generation with best hands in the bizzComment

Kell will stop JMM.
JMM is a legend, but he doesn't belong at 147, especially not in against the guys who are huge at the weight. Kell's size, jab and boxing ability will see him outbox JMM from distance and his power will be bigger than JMM has ever felt.Comment

Not even worth arguing about. Do your homework dumb phukk before you just throw **** at the wall to see what sticks. Well documented Porter called out Marquez and they wanted no part of Shawn. Brook wasn't even a talking point! Provo called out Marquez at 140 or 147, and Marquez excuse was "he already won Provo's belt", to which Provo said come win it a second time. Crickets. JMM decided to fight Alvarado instead who Provo just KO'd. Marquez was looking for a safe route so to stay in the hunt for Bradley should he beat Manny. He lost and now Marquez thinks Brook is the easiest route to a belt. Marquez is interested in fighting in Mexico so he can drink his own pee and break out with acne. He's become a real weasel at the end of his career. Maybe he out to fight Cotto or Canelo for a '54 belt!

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs) would still like to achieve his goal of winning a fifth divisional title.
Marquez's Hall of Fame trainer, Nacho Beristain, says their options for such a fight are pretty small. Floyd Mayweather Jr., who holds the WBC/WBA welterweight titles, dominated Marquez in a one-sided fight in 2009 and very few people are interested in seeing them fight again.
Manny Pacquiao holds the WBO crown and defends the belt on November 22nd against Chris Algieri. Marquez has faced Pacquiao four times already and pretty much took a pass on a fifth meeting.
That leaves IBF champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs), who defends his title against Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) on August 16th. Nacho says Porter's style is a perfect fit for his boxer.
"I would like the match with Porter [for Marquez], because he is a top fighter who comes forward [and fights]," Nacho said."
Kell Brook is the flavor of the month to you dorks. Let's clarify a few things:
--marquez is not "ducking" PAC (a guy he knocked out and had three very close fights with)
--why fight Provodnikov? It's not the belt he wants. It's not the weight class. Why fight a dangerous bruiser for no reward. I know the fans would like that. But jmm is in his final fights--why? Why fight Ruslan?
--nacho and jmm wanted Porter (read above)
--and you guys constantly predict jmm will be stopped by a these flavors of the month. I saw morons saying feather fisted Bradley was gonna stop him, manny was supposed to stop him in fight 3 (and got a gift), people were picking Alvarado saying jmm was too small.
Bottom line: you guys are blinded by your fanboyness. Look at the sport and it's fighters for what it is. Jmm has never been stopped, gives everyone (besides Floyd) a good fight, and at 40 he is still competeing among the elite.
Don't be so bias. It makes you guys sounds ridiculousComment
